Plan with Me Sundays: Vegas Edition

I'm challenging myself to do more linky parties this year, but I've almost run out of time on this one!  I love the idea of Plan with Me Sundays because that is when I do my planning for the week ahead.  Since this is my first time to link up on this party, I'm going for a minimalist approach until I learn from a few of the other, more "seasoned" bloggers.

First up: My Planning Space

The office overhaul on my summer bucket list is coming along well, but I've had to put it on pause for a little bit with the activities of the last few weeks.  I did get to hang up my photo lines and my vinyl last week though, and I'm really excited about how it turned out.  Now, when I sit down to plan in this coming school year, I can do so in front of my "inspiration space" to remind me of all the reasons I want to do more, be more, and achieve more!

Next up: My Planning Materials

I'm big on the idea of color coordination, so I thought these Liquid Flair pens were awesome!  I have them color-coded to a different goal or role in my life and mark each task accordingly on my calendar.  (Hopefully more about that in a future post...)  I'm also eager to get into the Washi tape trend this year, but admittedly, I don't know much about it.  My friend did pick up some for me when she was shopping, so I'm excited to use it in my new planner.

Which brings me to my next point...I'm still in last year's planner!!!  I've been so busy working on my customers' planners that I haven't even had a chance to finish mine.  That's going to be one of my "big rocks" when I get back from Vegas because I can't start a new school year without my planner in tow!  But this is the one I used last year, and it kept me on track SO much!

This week's big task:  Planning for Vegas

I do have one "special edition" planner that I'm using this week, and that's the planner I designed for myself for my first trip to the TpT Conference in Vegas this week!  I hope I've remembered to include everything, but I did leave some notes spaces and blank lines to jot those last minute remembrances.

I also realized after I had it printed that I put the wrong hashtag on the cover of my planner, but...oh, well!  I know the right one to use once I get there, so I suppose that's all that really matters!

Tomorrow, I will be spending packing and taking care of all the last minute tasks before my trip.

I also have a space to map out all my plans for the week...but I also want to plan for spontaneity because I know I'll have so much fun with new friends when I get there.

For the future: My Weekly Plans

I hope I had the right idea for this post, but as I mentioned earlier, I can't wait to see everyone else's posts so I know better how to plan for the next link-up.  In fact, I hope to have my next year's planner ready for the next link-up too!  Then I can really get into specifics about my planning process.  For now, I will leave you with this cute little pad I got to use for the coming year.  This is where I write down my "big rocks" for the week so I can accomplish the highest priority tasks each day.  I got it from Shutterfly, and I absolutely adore it!

Check out how all my blogging buddies plan too...and they're even hosting a giveaway too!
